Ordering Instructions (for special sizes, shapes and shanks see below):

  1. Order by Color Codes (see chart below).
  2. Pick the shape, point or wheel desired: "A" group for larger shapes, "B" for small and "W" for straight dimensional.
  3. This is important: Specify shank size. Many sizes of points and wheels are standard in two shank sizes.
  4. Specify grit size: 16-46 for rough work; 60-320 for finer work and polishing.
  5. Pick the bond material that is best suited to your application from the Color Code chart.
  6. If you have any questions regarding these ordering instructions contact Technical Support.

Special Sizes & Shapes: We are highly experienced in fulfilling special requirements! If your requirements cannot be met by a standard wheel or point, contact Technical Support to submit a drawing of the shape you need with complete data on proposed use. In most cases, samples can be produced and shipped within as little as 72 hours.

Special Shanks: Western Abrasives' Screw Machine Division can manufacture special lengths and styles of mandrels, most at low cost and little or no added lead time. Contact Technical Support for complete details.
